Sarah Begg is the Australian author of the Laura the Explorer series of novels, including Laura the Explorer, Eat Pray Shag and Great Sexpectations, as well as the standalone novel, Blackmailing Ava Darling.

She has been long-listed for the Queensland Writers Centre's Publishable competition with a YA fantasy manuscript, and has also been one of the ten shortlisted winners of the same competition with Blackmailing Ava Darling.

She lives in Sydney with her husband, a dog named Ruby, and two miniature heroes in the making. She loves when strangers tell her stories about their dating misadventures. She loves it even more when she manages to sneak those stories into her books.
